A Britt woman remains in custody after allegedly aiding and abetting a 24-year-old male to perform sex acts with a juvenile female earlier this year in Sac City. According to Sac County District Court records, 40-year-old Amanda Jean Goff allegedly assisted and/or encouraged Nelson Ayala Sanchez to engage in sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old girl on Jan. 18 of this year. Goff was taken into custody back in May and is being held on no bond. She is facing a charge of second-degree sexual abuse, a class B felony, punishable for a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison if convicted. Charges against Sanchez are currently pending. There is an ongoing investigation by the Sac City Police Department and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
