The City of Exira is accepting proposals for redevelopment of a lot on Cottage Street. The city acquired the property through condemnation and crews removed the delipidated structure to welcome new residential opportunities. The approximately 8,498 square feet (51.5’x165’, .20 acres) parcel located at 100 N. Cottage Street is available for residential dwellings of all kinds: single family home, duplex, or other permitted use, and will be approved by city council that best meet the goals of the urban renewal and comprehensive land use plan. Those interested in submitted a proposal must do so by July 30 to the City of Exira electronically by emailing cityclerk@exiraiowa.com. Submission requirements must include: proposed use of property, improvement plans, development costs, purchase price offer, and qualifications and experiences of purposed buyer.
