Templeton and Dedham Fire Departments responded to a skid loader on fire at a property east of Dedham this (Tuesday) afternoon. The Carroll Communications Center received a call of a skid loader that caught on fire around 2:15 p.m. in the 20000 block of 300th Street near Dedham. Three departments, Dedham, Manning and Templeton were dispatched out, with Manning getting called off while on route to the scene. Dedham and Templeton crews diminished the blaze in under an hour, with no injuries reported, but major damage to the equipment. No other damage occurred. A mechanical issue was to blame for the cause of the fire.
