The City of Kimballton will be performing a test on the city’s tornado siren tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1 p.m. Crews want to inform residents that the siren sounds can go off for up to three minutes. A new activation system was installed, and the test is part of the project’s completion to ensure everything works, thereby improving the safety of Kimballton citizens. Residents of Audubon County are reminded to sign up for Alert Iowa, a software program that delivers priority messages, including emergency information, severe weather alerts, and community events.
