The boil order issued nearly three weeks ago for the cities of Exira and Brayton in Audubon County has been lifted as of today (Tuesday). The advisory remains in effect for the towns of Panama, Portsmouth and Earling until testing from two samples comes back negative for bacteria. Customers using services from the Regional Water Rural Water Association are still asked to conserve water as the area remains in a Level Yellow status for water use restrictions. Conservation efforts include limiting outdoor use, avoiding nonessential washing and reducing consumption in large facilities. For updates, contact the Regional Water Office at 712-343-2413.
