Iowa Savings Bank, the trustee of the Warren H. Timmerman Charitable Trust and the Gilbert and Barbara Renze Charitable Foundation, has announced the application period for the 2025 grant cycle is now open. The Timmerman Trust is dedicated to projects within Carroll County, and half of the awarded funds each year are allocated to initiatives benefiting the immediate Manning area. The Renze Foundation grants are available to projects based in Sac or Carroll counties. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, governmental entities, or other similar groups. Applications are due to Iowa Savings Bank–Carroll Branch on or before July 11. Forms are available online at www.iowasavingsbank.com/grants, in person at the bank, or by reaching out via the email addresses included with this story on our website. To date, the Timmerman Trust has awarded more than $2.556 million since its inception, while the Renze Foundation has distributed more than $973,000. Awards are expected to be announced in July or August.
