A Denison man is facing two felony drug charges and multiple counts of child endangerment after allegedly intending to deliver psychedelic mushrooms and marijuana being around children. According to Crawford County District Court records, 45-year-old Branson Myles Malcom allegedly intendent to deliver 6.8 ounces of marijuana, over 20 THC vape pens, 15 bags of gummies and 3.6 ounces of mushrooms in Denison back in February. Malcom was in the presence of kids at the time, exposing them to the controlled substances. Malcom is facing two counts failure to affix drug stamp, both class D felonies, six counts of child endangerment, and possession of controlled substance second offense, all aggravated misdemeanors, and possession of controlled substance- marijuana second offense, a serious misdemeanor. Malcom has pled not guilty and faces a jury trial on July 8 at the Crawford County Courthouse. If convicted, Malcom can face up to 25 years in prison and over $72,000 in fines.
