A few Lake View community members partnered up with an Industrial Tech Class at East Sac County School to design and build the Caring and Sharing Pantry for residents. It was back in August 2024 when East Sac County administration was approached by Colleen Steinkamp and Gail Eischied to build a food pantry to be placed along a street in the community, for individuals to take various food and personal hygiene products they need, donated by others who are leaving what they can to help. The pantry was installed by the Methodist Church last week and is ready for use.
