Main Street Coon Rapids (MSCR), in partnership with the City of Coon Rapids is inviting everyone to come out and celebrate the holiday weekend with the Main Street Block Party this Sunday. MSCR Executive Director, Katie Mason, says the annual event started the same year that volunteers applied for Coon Rapids to be a Main Street community back in 2019.
From Sixth to Fourth Avenues all along Main Street will have activities for all ages. The east block of Main Street will feature the Kids Zone, with the rock wall, inflatables, mini-golf, face painting and much more. The west block is for the older kids and adults, with the annual Bags Tournament with registration starting at 12 p.m. and bags flying at 2 p.m., the beer garden, bingo and live music entertainment.
Mason says the best part of this event is that it’s affordable entertainment for the whole family.
Mason wants to extend a thank you to the business partners and the rest of the sponsors who help to make this event possible. MSCR and the City of Coon Rapids welcomes all to come celebrate this Sunday for the Main Street Block Party from 2 p.m. to midnight.
