Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has named Shelli Barsby, acute care administrative assistant, as the recipient of its 2025 Outstanding Employee Award. Nominated by her co-workers, Barsby was recognized for her exceptional work ethic, organizational skills, and positive attitude. Though she works behind the scenes, colleagues describe her as a central part of the team. One nominator writes, “There is an employee here at MRHC who displays all the criteria for this award, but tends to hide behind the scenes. She is the glue that holds us all together—the most organized of us all. If you can’t find something, she most likely knows where it is or how to find it.” Barsby’s duties extend far beyond her title. She tracks essential forms, standing orders, staff education requirements, and ensures reports are submitted on time to the appropriate agencies—all with a can-do spirit. The Outstanding Employee Award honors non-medical staff who go above and beyond to support the organization’s mission.
