Four local communities have been awarded a 2025 Paint Iowa Beautiful Grant through Keep Iowa Beautiful and Diamond Vogel Paint. Through the 21-year-long partnership, the grant program has donated thousands of gallons of paint to community groups to enhance buildings, facilities, and park appearances by maintaining the buildings with fresh paint coats. The City of Denison, the Lake View Foundation, the City of Lytton, and the Sac City Chambers were all awarded with paint through this grant for various projects throughout town. Executive Director of Keep Iowa Beautiful, Andy Frantz, says, “Paint Iowa Beautiful is more than just fresh paint. It’s about revitalizing community spaces and strengthening connections. When volunteers come together to improve local amenities, it cultivates leadership, civic pride, and a renewed sense of place.” View the complete list of grant recipients below.
