NEW Cooperative Foundation donates over $100,000 to several 4-H clubs, supporting over 5,000 individual 4-H participants. This contribution pays for half of each 4-H member’s dues for counties in New Cooperative’s trade territories, which included Carroll, Calhoun, Crawford, Greene, and Sac in the listening area. A total of $109,360 was distributed to 38 county extension and outreach offices. NEW Cooperative Communication Director, Gary Moritz, says “NEW Cooperative takes great pride in supporting its area youth 4-H programs. We strongly feel that 4-H helps youth build the necessary foundation to become future leaders in our local communities.” The NEW Cooperative Foundation is the charitable giving entity of the agriculture retailer, committed to supporting youth and education, human services and civic purposes that enhance quality of life for the over 12,000 members in 82 communities.
