A small portion of roadway on 280th Street three miles west of Sommers in Calhoun County is opened back up after the completion of a bridge replacement. The road was closed back in November for crews to replace a box culvert over the West Cedar Creek on 280th Street between Upland Avenue and Valley Avenue. The project was scheduled to be completed later this month, but finishing ahead of schedule the roadway is back open as of today (Tuesday).
