Commuters in Sac County are advised to use caution as there will be increased bicycle traffic due to the Sac County Prairie Pedal event tomorrow (Saturday). The bike ride kicks off at 10 a.m. in Sac City, traveling west on Old Highway 20 to Perkins Avenue, turning south and riding towards Lake View. Cyclist will then take 350th Street from Lake View to Wall Lake, County Road D59 east through Carnavon, before traveling north on Rolf Avenue up to Lake View again and finishing back where the ride started in Sac City. The approximately 37-mile-long trip will have pop-up events in the towns it travels through, as individuals and businesses welcome all the riders biking for a cause to help promote fitness and raise funding to support trail development through Sac County.
