United Way of Carroll kicked off its annual Baby Drive this past weekend, with drop offs at five locations for new, unused baby items. Anyone wishing to help can drop off requested items of diapers, wipes, bottles, toys, etc. to Crossroads Nutrition, Breda Daycare Center, Little Wildcats Daycare Center in Glidden, the Glidden Public Library and Carroll Area Childcare Center and Preschool. Donations will also be collected at Fareway and Wal-Mart in Carroll on this upcoming Friday and Saturday. Everything donated will be staying local, going to the Family Resource Center, The Carroll County Nest program, and New Opportunities to support families in the Carroll area.
