Stewart Memorial Community Hospital and its affiliated McCrary Rost Clinics have announced a rebranding initiative that unites all locations under a single name: Stewart Memorial Hospital and Clinics. The change aims to strengthen patient care, enhance recognition, and reinforce the system’s commitment to rural healthcare. CEO Linn Block says, “For years, our hospital and clinics have worked together to provide outstanding healthcare to our communities. By unifying under the Stewart Memorial name, we are reinforcing the seamless experience we provide to patients from routine checkups to specialty care and hospital services. This transition ensures patients recognize us as one healthcare system, dedicated to their well-being.” The transition connects the hospital with its four rural clinics in Lake City, Rockwell City, Gowrie, and Lake View. Key updates include new signage at all locations and a redesigned website offering easier access to provider information and patient resources. A tribute mural honoring the legacy of Drs. McCrary and Rost, the clinics’ namesakes, has been created at the Lake City hospital, preserving their lasting impact on regional healthcare. Administrators say Stewart Memorial remains committed to providing high-quality, accessible care and ensuring patients receive a seamless experience from checkups to specialty and hospital services. A dedication event for the mural will be held later this year.
