Main Street Guthrie Center is inviting all to come celebrate the community on Friday, May 9 with a dinner social and updates from various organizations in Guthrie Center. The Celebrate Guthrie Center event will be held at the Guthrie Activity Center at 209 State Street, with a time to socialize starting at 5:30 p.m. and dinner by Café on the Hill at 6 p.m. Throughout the evening, attendees will hear from organizations throughout the community, such as the Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce, AC/GC School, city officials, Little Charger Early Learning Center, Guthrie Center Hospital, the library and more. Reservations are required to attend, and can be purchased for $25 at Guthrie County State Bank, People’s Bank and Panora Fiber in Guthrie Center or by scanning the QR code included above. During the event, the fourth annual Volunteer of the Year award will be presented. Nominations for individuals who go above and beyond for Guthrie Center are being accepted at the same places reservations can be purchased at, and need to be submitted by May 2 .
