The Lake View City Council has approved the hire of Interim City Administrator Jeff Kruse following the resignation of Theresa Pudenz. Kruse has previously served as a superintendent for 28 years for several districts including East Sac County, Ar -We-Va, South Central Calhoun, and most recently Orient-Macksburg in 2023. Kruse will begin his role after March 17, which is set for Pudenz’s last day. Pudenz resigned after taking a position with the City of Cherokee. Kruse will serve as city admin until a full-time, qualified candidate is hired for the position.
