Road construction has started on Calhoun County Road D26 as of 7:00 a.m. this morning (Thursday). Crews are working on crack sealing the 5-mile stretch of roadway between Jolley and Ogden Ave or N57. A pilot car will guide traffic during the roadwork, which is expected to be completed by tomorrow (Friday) at 6:00 p.m. Commuters are asked to slow down while driving through the construction zone, stay alert, and expect delays. Fines for driving infractions through work areas are at least double the normal amount.
