The Coon Rapids Police Department is seeking the surrounding businesses on Main Street and the community members help on identifying an individual for shattering the window of the town’s pharmacy with a cinderblock. Chief of Police Paul Whitenack says the suspect was recorded on video camera to throw the brick at the Coon Rapids Pharmacy’s door at approximately 12:51 a.m. this (Monday) morning, causing the alarm to go off and took off running back to the east down Main Street. Whitenack reported to the scene and stayed securing the area until a pharmacy keyholder was able to come in and secure the building. It was later reported that the same individual attempted to open the back door of Drago, another business just up the street before breaking the glass of the pharmacy door. Whitenack is asking any businesses close to Drago or the pharmacy that has security camera to check footage for any more sightings of the individual.
