The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will meet for their regular schedule meeting on Monday, to discuss an agreement for a potential new project, appoint a member for a county board and other scheduled business items. The first on the agenda is to review and to consider approval for Silver Queen Wind Farm LLC road use and maintenance agreement. This project has not been approved by the board, because the zoning ordinances have not been sent to the supervisors yet for the project. The members are just getting prepared with agreements to be ready to go once construction can begin. Next on the agenda are to approve utility permits and to hear department updates. After the department updates, the board will approve payables and appoint a member for the County Board of Health. The supervisors will next discuss investment options for the OPIOID settlement money from the lawsuit agreement with the pharmaceutical companies that every Iowa county will be receiving. Members of the board will then decide on the ICAP insurance settlement for the conservation buildings, hear manure management annual updates and committee reports. The Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Swan Lake Education Center and the meeting is open to the public.
