Tomorrow (Saturday) will be the first Annual Vietnam War Veterans Breakfast, hosted by the Carroll Co, IA Republican Women, a tradition looking to get started for the Carroll area to honor the service members from the Vietnam War era. This breakfast will be free to a Vietnam Veteran and one guest, with the public welcome to attend for a freewill donation. Pancakes and other breakfast food will be served at the American Legion in Carroll from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. this Saturday. A Missing Man Honors and Ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. National Vietnam War Veterans Day is celebrated on March 29 this year, honoring the 58,000 plus service members who lost their life, the over 1500 still unaccounted for, and the six million veterans nationwide, for the service and sacrifices they made for the United States. Again, the first Annual Vietnam War Veterans Breakfast will be tomorrow (Saturday) from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Carroll American Legion.
