With the Carroll County Courthouse renovations in the final stages, a few offices will be closed to the public this Friday due to the move back to the first floor. Several offices, including the Assessor’s, Auditor’s, Recorder’s, and Treasurer’s, moved down the basement floor back in October of last year and can now return to the first floor again at the end of this week. These offices will be closed all day on Friday for the transition back, and only the Auditor’s office will be open to accept nomination papers for the Primary Election. The second floor Clerk of Court’s office will be opening for service as usual. The Carroll County Courthouse will open again on Monday of next week, serving Carroll County residents back on the courthouse’s main floor.
