The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will meet on Monday for their regular scheduled meeting, with a few action items on the agenda. The first item will be for the board to review and consider approval for the Carroll County Professional Paramedics Association Union Agreement for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025. In December of 2023, the association proposed a $0.75 per hour increase to each level of its stepped-pay scale and to increase the wage for on-call pay to half of the regular duty pay. The supervisors made a counter-proposal to the request and are now considering the final agreement with the union. Following that, the supervisors will approve of any plat(s) and move to appoint Kniest Township Clerk and Trustee, as well as a Maple River Township Trustee. Last on the agenda will be manure management updates and committee reports. The Board of Supervisors will meet in the Swan Lake Education Center conference room starting at 9 a.m. on Monday and the meeting is open to the public.
