The Seasons Center for Behavior Health in Carroll has received a boost in its efforts to support children and families in Carroll County with a $2,081 grant from the Communities 4 Children Decategorization and Community Partnerships for Protecting Children Neighborhood/Community Network Mini-Grant program. The grant, split across three initiatives, includes providing therapeutic resources for working with children and families, establishing a dedicated self-care space within the Carroll office for staff, children, and families, and creating personal care bags for families. The behavioral health center, which caters to some of the most vulnerable individuals, recognizes the significance of having ample resources such as books, workbooks, and sensory items to meet client needs and improve outcomes. The self-care resources aim to encourage children and families accessing services in the Carroll office to practice mindfulness and enhance mental health and well-being. Additionally, the distribution of personal care bags alleviates financial stressors, allowing families to focus on treatment and recovery.
