The 60th Annual Chamber Banquet Awards ceremony honored six individuals, businesses, or organizations that significantly impacted the Carroll community. The New Business Award is given to businesses started in the past five years that strive to provide excellence to customers through goods and services. Emcee for the banquet, Tim Fitzpatrick, says the new business award goal is to promote businesses that go above and beyond for the community.
Announcing the recipient of the award is Ryan Milligan from Commercial Savings Bank. Milligan says what stood out to him was a comment from another business, saying that most of their out-of-town employees make a point to stop at the winning business before heading home. Milligan went into a brief history of the award winner and how it started as a hobby before their first store purchase in 2018.
Tom and Cindy Bordenaro expressed their multitude of gratitude for the recognition of this award, never knowing how their passion for food would bring them there today.
