The Coon Rapids-Bayard Education Foundation is hosting its eighth annual Trivia Night on Saturday, Feb. 17, to raise funds for the school district’s teacher grant program. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will consist of ten rounds of trivia questions, games, and prizes. Keely Sanden, who sits on the board of directors for the foundation, has been assisting in organizing this event since it began and says this is the largest fundraiser of the year for the teachers who work at CR-B.
This year’s theme is “All About Cartoons,” and Sanden encourages individuals and teams to participate in dressing up.
A silent auction will also be held with items that were donated to the CR-B Education Foundation. A cash bar will be available throughout the night, and something new this year, a “Sweet Support Shoppe” dessert bar for a free-will donation.
Those interested in registering a team need to fill out a registration form and send the $240 payment to Sanden by Feb. 15.
