Carroll Christmas Bus Vandalized Just Days Before The Holiday

The Carroll Police Department is investigating reported vandalism to the well-known Carroll Christmas Bus. This (Thursday) morning, Brady Brehmer, the bus’s owner and operator, posted photos to social media of the Christmas-light adorned bus with shattered windows, slashed tires, and smashed mirrors. Authorities say the damage likely occurred sometime Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning when the vehicle was parked at 213 U.S. Highway 71. Anyone with information concerning the vandalism is asked to contact the Carroll Police Department by calling 712-792-3536. In a separate post, Brehmer says they aren’t letting the vandal get them down and will be back out on the road this evening. A donation account is being set up at Commercial Savings Bank to help pay for repairs. Any remaining funds will go to the organizations the Christmas Bus already supports: Carroll County EMS, the New Opportunities Christmas Fund, and the Community of Concern Food Pantry.
