The bulk of Monday’s agenda for the Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting is focused on Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 budget items. The board convenes at 9 a.m. at the Conservation Education Center in Swan Lake State Park. They open with a report from the Carroll County Compensation Board on elected officials’ salaries for FY25. The Compensation Board approved a 3.2% cost-of-living adjustment for all elected positions and a $3,500 stipend for the Auditor’s budget preparation and oversight work. After receiving the report, the supervisors can accept the recommendation, reject it, reduce the values equally across positions, or delay their decision for later in the budgeting process. The board will also hear from the Family Crisis Center and Community of Concern food pantry for their FY25 funding requests. Other items on Monday’s agenda include a report from County Engineer Zac Andersen on secondary roads, Home Care Aides salary adjustments, continued human resources services discussions, and more. The Dec. 4 meeting is open to the public. A link to the agenda is included with this story on our website.
