The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Board of Education is scheduled to meet Monday for their November work session, and this month’s focus will be on curriculum within the district. Superintendent Dr. Casey Berlau says three distinct areas will be reviewed, starting with mathematics.

OpenSciEd is used in third through 12th grade. Berlau says the board will finish with an overview of CCSD’s English and language arts curriculum, StudySync Ela, which is used at the middle and high schools. Administrators and teachers regularly review the curriculum to determine what works best for all students. Berlau says these check-ins are critical as they deal directly with day-to-day instruction.
