Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) is hosting a Ladies’ Night: Women’s Health Open House tomorrow (Wednesday) evening to introduce the community to its newest addition, Dr. Julia Richardson. The event will feature a tour of the new facility, starting at 5:30 p.m., and provide an opportunity for women of all ages to meet the SMCH women’s healthcare providers. The open house, which runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., will take place in the new SMCH main entrance lobby and include complimentary wine tasting, charcuterie, and refreshments. It also offers a chance for attendees to schedule their recommended preventative screenings and learn more about the hospital’s extensive women’s health, rehabilitation, obstetrics (OB), and medical imaging services. Richardson, a Lake City native, joined SMCH on Sept. 18, bringing her family medicine and obstetrics expertise to the community. She recently completed her medical residency training in Lincoln, Neb.
