The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will convene at their usual time and place for next week’s meeting. The first item of business on their agenda is a report on the Secondary Roads Department from County Engineer Zac Andersen, followed be a review of quotes from Tyler Technologies for updates to the county’s payroll processing systems. The supervisors will then open a discussion on county policy concerning solar farms. A small change order that was tabled at the Aug. 21 meeting returns on Monday as well for consideration. The board will close the proceedings by setting a public hearing date for two small line-item amendments to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 budget, manure management annual updates, and committee reports. The Monday, Aug. 28 meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Carroll County Courthouse in the supervisors’ meeting room. It will also be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
