Carroll County Supervisors To Consider Second Courthouse Change Order At Monday’s Meeting

A second change order for the Carroll County Courthouse renovation project is on the agenda for Monday’s board of supervisors meeting. County officials convene at 9 a.m. in the supervisors’ meeting room and open with a report from County Engineer Zac Andersen concerning an Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 budget amendment and drain and construction updates. The Board will also consider approving payables, a cigarette permit for the Carroll Country Club, and a change order for the Courthouse HVAC/remodel project. The $25,400 change order is the second one for the project and covers additional cabling, cameras, and cell signal repeaters in the courthouse. They are also scheduled to set a public hearing for a proposed $35,000 amendment to the FY23 budget. The bulk of the adjustment comes from Carroll County Conservation due to cost overruns for repair work in county parks. Monday’s meeting is open to the public and will be live-streamed via the county’s YouTube channel. The full agenda and a link to the video are included below.
