The Carroll Community School District (CCSD) board-appointed reconsideration committee will meet next week to review books that have been challenged by stakeholders for their perceived graphic content. On Monday, February 20, the committee will review and discuss three books by author Sarah Maas. The first one being reviewed is A Court of Thorn and Roses, followed by A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Frost and Starlight. Committee members will vote on whether the books belong in the school libraries and set their next meeting date. The reconsideration committee will convene at 5:00 p.m. on Monday at Carroll Middle School in the Media Center. The CCSD Board of Education originally had their February meeting scheduled for the same night but moved it to Monday, February 27, due to a scheduling conflict.
