The Carroll SuperDraft committee presented a check today (Friday) to the St. Anthony Regional Cancer Center to help patients at the center directly. Softball enthusiasts from Carroll and beyond gathered to participate in the second annual Carroll SuperDraft Tournament on May 14. Players paid a small entry fee and made themselves available to be drafted onto one of eight teams. Teams and fans assembled at the Carroll Softball Complex for a round-robin tournament, a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and more. All the money raised went back to the cancer center to help patients experiencing financial difficulties due to their illness. The committee presented a check for $10,000.
