Sac City Is Changing The Ordinance Regarding Stray Pets In Town

A new ordinance is coming to Sac City concerning stray pets. At their meeting last night (Tuesday), the Sac City Council introduced a reading of ordinance number 2022-315 impounding cost. City Administrator Jamie Lawrence says there are some changes to the new ordinance, and they have gotten feedback from other towns. He explains what those changes are.

He says if the city picks up a stray animal, the owners must get it from the Animal Health Center in Sac City.
