Congressman Randy Feenstra And Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton Toured Scranton Manufacturing Today

The Representative for Iowa’s fourth Congressional District Randy Feenstra and Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton were in Scranton today (Thursday) listening to employees and touring Scranton Manufacturing. The New Way refuse truck producer is seeing many struggles within the labor force and supply chain issues. Feenstra sees this as a direct result of high inflation and unnecessary government spending.

Scranton Manufacturing operates multiple sites in Iowa and Mississippi to help meet the high demand for garbage trucks. However, Cotton says the company is not reaching its potential output due to burdensome regulations, supply chain disruptions, and excessive government oversight.

Feenstra says it was exciting to have Senator Cotton tour the facility Thursday to see what Iowa and the 4th District have to offer, as Cotton is one of a several names that have come up as a possible Republican nominee for the 2024 presidential election.

Feenstra and Cotton made their comments at Scranton Manufacturing following their tour. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more on their visit in upcoming newscasts.
