St. Anthony Cancer Center Launches Memorial Garden Commemorative Brick Fundraiser

The St. Anthony Cancer Center is launching a new fundraising effort for the community to commemorate loved ones while also strengthening the quality of care at the facility. A memorial garden is being established just south of the cancer center. Patients, families, staff, and others can purchase a memorial brick that will encircle the decorative area. Director of Cancer Services, Lori Pietig, says, “Each donor will not only honor their loved one, but they will also strengthen our cancer center and services, and in turn, others in need. By purchasing a brick, we create a link from the past to the future. The garden is a serene place for contemplation and is open to all.” Only a limited number of memorial bricks are available and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for a minimum donation of $500. The St. Anthony Cancer Center began treating patients near the end of 2020. In just 2021, they served individuals from 17 different counties through a combined 14,000 treatments. Call the St. Anthony Foundation at 712-794-5223 or use the contact points included below to purchase a memorial brick.
