***Power was restored around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday morning***
An estimated 174 customers in Dedham woke up without power this morning (Wednesday). According to MidAmerican Energy Company, the outage began at approximately 6:09 a.m., but electrical service was restored right around 8:15 a.m. A MidAmerican Energy spokesperson says the outage was caused by a broken insulator on a power pole along Iowa Highway 141.
