The Carroll Rec Center announced their indoor pool would be operating with reduced hours through the end of the month due to a lifeguard shortage. City officials say they are limited to just two lifeguards during the 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. shift. As a result, the indoor pool will be closed during those hours on March 14-16, March 23-25, and March 28 and 29. Rec Center staff note that they may be able to open on these dates if circumstances change. They recommended contacting the Rec Center at 712-792-5400 before using the pool to ensure the facility is available. They thank patrons for their understanding.
