10 Squared Women Of Guthrie County Donate $11,000 To Panora Garden Club

The 102 Women of Guthrie County recently presented $11,000 to the Panora Garden Club to use on upcoming community beautification efforts. Club President, Paulette Chambers, says, “The Panora Garden Club is excited and eager for the spring so we can begin working on Heritage Park. Thanks to the generous donation of the 10 Squared Women.” The park sits at the northern entrance to town near the Raccoon River Valley Trail. The donations will provide funding to install a working water fountain for the thousands of bikers, walkers, and runners who utilize the popular trail. Other non-profit organizations in the running for the 102 Women of Guthrie County’s first quarterly donation of 2022 included the Bayard Community Center and the Casey Service Club. Members each donate $100 quarterly to an organization or project that improves the lives of local residents with nearly $230,000 in contributions since 2017.
