Both vehicles were disabled in a two-car crash Thursday morning in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched at approximately 7:34 a.m. to the scene at the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and 18th Street. Their initial investigation determined a 2010 Toyota Rav4, driven by Cindy Lawler of Carroll, was traveling northbound on 71 when a westbound 2017 Ford Explorer, driven by 33-year-old Amber Mohr of Carroll, did not see the Lawler vehicle while making a left-hand turn. The Toyota then collided with the front passenger side of the Mohr SUV. No injuries were reported, and Mohr was cited for failure to yield.
