A Carroll man wanted on an outstanding warrant for escape from custody was arrested yesterday (Wednesday) by the Carroll Police Department. At approximately 5 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a 2002 Chrysler Town & Country in the 900 block of W. Highway 30. The driver, identified as 56-year-old Scott Alan Moeller, was found to have a Department of Corrections warrant for absconding from a residential facility. Moeller was arrested without incident and transported to the Carroll County Jail. He remained in custody as of Thursday morning. He also currently faces charges in Carroll County District Court for assault with intent to inflict serious injury, an aggravated misdemeanor, and is scheduled for trial in April.
