A Carroll woman was cited after she struck a stationary vehicle on Monday morning. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched to the 500 block of W. 9th Street at approximately 7:48 a.m. in response to the reported collision. Their investigation found a 2013 Acura RDX, driven by 27-year-old Kristy Vang of Carroll, was traveling eastbound on 9th when she collided with a legally parked 2013 Chevrolet Malibu on the south side of the road. The driver and two juvenile passengers were transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services for suspected minor injuries. Vang was cited for striking an unattended vehicle.
