Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has announced the addition of a new member to their rehabilitation team. Amanda Arneson is an occupational therapist and brings a wide range of services to patients who need specialized assistance to lead independent and productive lives. Rehab Director, Taylor Nelson, says, “Amanda is a great asset to add to the Rehab Department and has experience treating a wide range of diagnoses. Occupational therapy can be beneficial for many different individuals ranging from children with developmental issues to people recovering from stroke. OT’s wheelhouse focuses on treating not just the diagnosis but treating the person as a whole in order to reach their functional goals.” Arneson will provide adult and pediatric care as well as training that includes everything from brushing teeth to driving in to work. Arneson is a 2012 Audubon High School graduate and received her masters in Occupational Therapy at the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Neb.
