The Carroll County Board of Supervisors will finalize Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 health insurance rates for employees during their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday. The board discussed raising the employee portion of premium costs to 20 percent from 15 percent during their Jan. 17 meeting but wanted more tangible numbers to review before making a decision. Other items on the agenda include a request form the Carroll County Ambulance Department, a FY23 budget review for the county’s home care aide services, the Treasurer’s Office semi-annual reported and continued discussion on a proposed project from the Auditor’s and Recorder’s Offices to also offer physical records in digital form. The Monday, Jan. 24 meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the courthouse meeting room. It is open to the public and will be livestreamed via the county’s YouTube channel.
