Carroll and Winterset At Carlisle
Carroll went 0-2 in duals but won more matches wrestled then they lost. The Tigers fell to Carlisle 40-18, going 5-4 in matches wrestled with a win by fall and four wins by decision. They lost to Winterset 47-28, going 4-4 in matches wrestled with wins by fall, major decision and two by decision. Carroll finished the night 9-8 in matches wrestled with two wins by fall, a major decision and six wins by decision.
Cael Nelson went 2-0 at 120 with both wins by decision. Cooper Ludwig at 126 and 132 was 2-0 with both wins by decision. Carter Drake at 138 and Jireh Gallegos at 145 were both 2-0. Gallegos picked up both wins by fall while Drake won by major decision against Winterset and by decision vs Carlisle. Colton Wieland went 1-1 at 285 with his win by decision and Ryler Ziegmann at 113 and Dreylen Schweitzer at 106 both had a win by forfeit.

Kuemper, AHSTW and Harlan At Red Oak
Kuemper finished the long road trip going 2-1 with wins over AHSTW and Red Oak and a tough loss to Harlan. The Knights downed AHSTW 46-30, going 8-4 in matches wrestled with seven wins by fall and a major decision. They knocked off Red Oak 60-21, winning five of the eight matches wrestled. All five wins against the Tigers came by fall. The lose to Harlan will be a tough one to swallow as Kuemper lost 35-34 but won seven of the twelve matches wrestled. The Knights had two wins by fall, four by decision and one major decision. Harlan won four of their five matches by fall and picked up a tech fall win in their other win.
The Knights had a bunch of wrestlers have outstanding nights. Shae Parkis went 3-0 at 152 with all three wins by fall, Owen Nepple at 106 and 113 and Riley Parkis at 113 and 120 both went 3-0 and both had wins by fall, decision and forfeit. Cal Wanninger at 220 and 285 was 3-0 with a win by fall and two forfeits. Will Healy finished 2-0 at 195 with a win by fall and decision. Hayden Stout at 160, Bryce Wiskus at 170 and Tate Bieret at 182 all went 2-1. Stout won by major decision, decision, Wiskus and Bieret both won by fall twice. Jake Irlbeck at 138 was 2-1 with wins by major decision and fall. Jake Hausman at 126 and Brayden Riesbert at 195 and 220 both went 2-1. Both had a win by fall and by forfeit.

Hinton, MVAOCOU and West Monona At East Sac
East Sac finished the night 0-3 with their best dual a 47-24 loss to MVAOCOU. The Raiders went 4-4 in matches wrestled against the Rams with all four coming by fall. They combined to win two matches wrestled in the other two duals, losing to West Monona 70-6 with a win by fall, going 1-6 in matches wrestled. They fell to Hinton 54-17, going 1-6 with their win by tech fall. Combined the Raiders were 6-16 in matches wrestled, with five wins by fall and the other by teach fall.
Charlie Veit showed why he is ranked going 3-0 with two wins by fall and the other by tech fall. Braydon Burns was 1-0 winning by forfeit. Garret Ortner at 120, Landon Grindle at 138, Tate Lahr at 145 and Chandler Lahr at 152 were all 1-2. Ortner, Grindle and Tate Lahr won by fall and Chandler won by forfeit.
