Judith Bromley of Lake View

Judith Elaine Bromley, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away January 17, 2022, at her home surrounded by her devoted family.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Lakes United Methodist Church in Lake View, IA, with Pastor Betty Kiboko officiating.  Burial will take place at the Ferguson Cemetery in Lake View.  Visitation will be Thursday evening 5-7:00 p.m., at the church.
Born June 14, 1939, in Lake View, IA, Judy was one of seven siblings.  Judy and Ken Bromley were married on January 22, 1956.  To this union was born Kimble, Kevin, and Julia.  The Bromley family were lifelong members of the Lakes United Methodist Church.
Judy kept busy in early life running The Beach Shack at Crescent Beach, keeping books at Bromley’s Foodland, and enjoying cleaning homes for many in Lake View.  Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, and she was an avid puzzler.  It was not uncommon for Judy to walk around the lake followed by a bike ride around the lake.  She was always on the move.
Judy is survived by her children: Kim (Gretchen) Bromley, Kevin (Michelle) Bromley, and Julia (Dana Drost); grandchildren: Lindsay Cunningham, Sarah Bromley, Steven Bromley, Emily Bromley Castaneda, Luke Burmeister, Matthew Bromley, and Logan Burmeister; great-grandchildren: Will and Jude Cunningham, Scarlett Bromley, Noah Castaneda; sisters: Bonnie Reida and Karen (Vernon) Van Meveren; sisters-in-law: Janet (Jim) Frisbie, Earlene (Jerry) Frisbie, Marsha (Larry) Dowdell, Gloria (Denny) Bromley; brother-in-law Jeff (Connie) Bromley.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband Ken Bromley; parents Lee and Ina (Vauble) Frisbie; in-laws Doc and Verla Bromley; sisters: Verla Johnston, Norma Obman; brothers: Jim Frisbie and Jerry Frisbie; brothers-in-law: Jim Johnston, Darrel Obman, Denny Bromley, and Greg Bromley.
