Carroll had a big day Saturday at the Des Moines Hoover Invitational where they took second place as a team and came away with strong performances overall.
Kyle Sundrup and Jonathan Dose both had successful days, both grabbing four top two finishes. Sundrup individually won the 100-back event with a time of 57.14 and grabbed a second-place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:56.63. Sundrup teamed up with Jacob Greving, Tristen Blair, and Jonathan Dose in the 200 free relay who won the event with a time of 1:36.31. Sundrup along with Ty Thomas, Blair, and Dose also grabbed a second-place finish in the 400 free relay in a time of 3:42.78.
Jonathan Dose also had a big day individually, winning the 50 free in a time of 22.86 and the 100 fly in a time of 57.01. Tristan Blair individually grabbed two second place finishes, in the 200 IM in 2:21.88 and 500 free in a time of 5:37.34. Jacob Greving had a good day as well with a win in the 100 breast in a time of 1:11.75 and along with Caleb Blair, Noah Boell, and Thomas, got second in the 200-medley relay in a time of 1:59.06.
