The Audubon Community School District was the recipient of a generous gift from former Wheelers this week that will help students pursue additional educational opportunities after graduation. On Tuesday, Nov. 9, representatives from the Audubon High School Class of 1970 presented at $31,000 check to school officials. The funds were raised during the class’s 50th reunion, which was held this sum0mer after being postponed last year due to COVID. Scholarships created by the donation will be set up so they follow the selected students through their post-secondary education, including four-year university programs, community college or apprenticeships.
